Large Cross Stitch

Uses:  Samplers, Isolated, Center Accent

This stitch is best used as an isolated stitch or in a "sampler" style project which has many different stitches. 

To stitch, start with an away knot and a slightly longer thread than you would usually use.  Work the red stitches first.  Start with the longest lines first and work your way towards the shorter ones.  When you have finished the "red" stitches, finish with the blue ones.   Long Stitch is lovely in two types or two different colors of threads.

Be sure your thread lays perfectly straight on the canvas.  This will bring out the beauty of Long Stitch.
