Algerian Eye Over Lapping Filling Stitch

Uses:  Borders, Foliage, Clothes

The sample was worked on 14/1 interlock canvas using 6 strands of overdyed floss.  To work, make each stitch traveling from the outside of the eye into the middle.  You may wish to open the hole by rotating your needle as you travel down the center.

Stitch each row from left to right.  You do not want the over lapping in both directions.

This makes a great fill-in stitch.
