Bath Stitch

Stitch Bath in two different colors to create a dramatic effect.  To create this stitch, first work the green lines in one color and the blue in another.  The long stitches travel over four intersections on the canas.  The stitch pattern is over 4, 3, 2 and then 1.  Repeat this combination.  When you get to the end of the row, skip the required intersections for the blue row and then continue to stitch in the opposite direction.  (Please notice the dark, curved green arrow.)

When the green stitches are placed, insert the blue ones.  Again, Bath requires two threads or colors.
