Ben Stitch

Uses:  Samplers, Larger areas

Take a look at the first graph and you will see the lay-out for Ben stitch.  You should first insert the large crosses.  (See the blue cross in the second graph for proper count.)  After the crosses are in, Double Straight Cross is next.  (Red)  Again, you will see the count in the second graph.  Last, stitch the elongated, tied horizontal cross. (Green cross)

This stitch is best in either 3 colors or threads.
